1. Who We Are

iJodidar ("we", "us", "our") is a matrimonial platform operated as a proprietorship by Atul Gadhave, Pune, Maharashtra, India. Our website is ijodidar.com. Contact: support@ijodidar.com

2. What Data We Collect

• Registration data: Name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender
• Profile data: Religion, caste, education, profession, income, family details, photos
• Aadhaar details: Last 4 digits only — we do not store full Aadhaar numbers
• Payment data: Transaction reference only — card/bank details are held by Razorpay
• Usage data: Profile views, interests sent/received, messages, login timestamps

3. Why We Collect It

• To provide matchmaking and matrimonial services
• To verify identity and prevent fraud
• To process membership payments
• To send transactional notifications (interest received, payment receipt, account alerts)
• To comply with applicable Indian laws

4. Who Can See Your Data

• Other users: Your name, age, city, religion, profession, photos, bio — visible to all logged-in users. Phone number visible only to Gold/Platinum members after mutual interest acceptance.
• Family member details: If you add details about a family member (e.g. parent or sibling) in "My Family," their name and occupation are shown to other members only if you explicitly confirm you have that person's permission, and only after you and the viewer have accepted each other's interest. Their phone number and email are never shown to other users under any circumstance — only to you, for your own reference.
• Our staff: iJodidar team can view profiles for moderation and support purposes
• No third-party sale: We never sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers
• Service providers: AWS (hosting, email), Razorpay (payments), MSG91 (SMS) — bound by their respective privacy policies

5. Your Rights (DPDP Act 2023)

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: Update inaccurate information via your profile settings
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data by emailing support@ijodidar.com
• Withdrawal of consent: You may withdraw consent at any time by deactivating your account

6. Data Security

We use HTTPS encryption, secure password hashing, and AWS-managed infrastructure. Profile photos are stored on Amazon S3. We conduct regular security reviews.

7. Data Retention

Active accounts: data retained while account is active. Deleted accounts: personal data anonymised within 30 days, except where legally required to be retained.
